So today has just seemed to be one of those days where nothing can go right. We woke up at 6:30 am after a night of minimal sleep to ride a taxi across the Golden Gate Bridge and back, but from the car window all we could see was fog. The plan was then to catch a Cable Car back up to our hotel, but because of unknown reasons the Cable Cars weren't operating and we had to wait around for a free shuttle bus that never actually turned up. This all would have been fine despite the fact we needed to be at the airport in 2 hours to fly to Vancouver!
After another taxi ride back to the hotel, we went to have our complimentary breakfast at the hotel but the buffet was closed. After eating we then returned to our room, packed our bags and left for the airport. When we were waiting in line to check in we found out that our flight had been delayed by 2 hours.
So we are all currently sitting in San Francisco Airport, Terminal 3, Gate 68, waiting around for another 3 hours until our plane boards. Great.
